Job Profile
  • Hands-on expertise in VDI Tooling with the ability to lead and manage end-to-end tooling functions.
  • Sourcing, procurement, and planning of mold base materials.
  • Driving hard negotiations with suppliers and finalizing purchase contracts.
  • Vendor development for cost-effective procurement.
  • Coordination with CFT teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Workload planning in line with customer schedules and production requirements.
  • Vendor auditing and compliance.
  • Basic 2D/3D drawing study on Visit software.
  • Daily material tracking, raw material procurement, and follow-ups Item code generation and data management in Emperor software.
  • Capacity planning and analysis.
  • Preparation of MIS and other reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and internal Motherson portals.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Strong expertise in sourcing, procurement, and planning for mold base materials.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D mold design and tool design review for conceptual assembly ease.
  • Proven experience in manpower management, task allocation, and schedule adherence.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership with a focus on discipline, planning, scheduling, and achieving results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a dynamic, collaborative approach.
