Qualification :- B.E / B. Tech in Production / Mechanical Engineering
Designation :- Engineer
Department :- Production
Experience :- 03 to 07  Years
Location :- Haridwar Steel Plant
Pay Scale :- Depend on Interview & Current Salary
Job Profile
  • Supervise and manage deep draw operations in the press shop.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet daily targets with quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor machine performance, tool wear, and ensure die/machine availability.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to deep drawing such as wrinkling, tearing, or spring-back.
  • Work closely with the design and tool room teams for die modifications and new tool trials.
  • Optimize forming parameters to improve cycle time, reduce rejections, and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards (surface finish, dimensions, tolerances).
  • Implement and monitor 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.
  • Prepare and maintain production records, downtime analysis, and shift reports.
  • Train and guide operators on machine handling, safety, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety norms and regulatory requirements.
